Railroad History Highlights

The purpose of this page is to present some of the historical railroad locations in and around town. So much is now gone that Galesburg appears very different today as it did in years past. My personal bias shows here. I often like to explore the old grounds of any railroad location I visit. I like to learn what buildings and facilities once stood where there may be only empty fields now days. For others who may share this interest in "railroad archaeology", I will try to present views not only of yesterday's facilities, but also of what things look like today.
